ABOUT THE PRESENTATION: The Center for the Study of Political Graphics (CSPG) is an educational and research archive with a collection of over 90,000 human rights and protest posters. CSPG has been collecting, preserving, cataloging and digitizing these historical and contemporary posters to bring them to the public. Learn about how the protest poster has been an indispensable tool for political organizing.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Emily Sulzer’s journey with CSPG began in 2015, as a volunteer. She subsequently earned a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Studies from UCLA. As the Archives Director at CSPG, she oversees all aspects of documenting, caring for, and providing public access to CSPG’s collection.
Sam Ceja was first introduced to CSPG while on a visit as a Marrow Undergraduate Intern in 2019. In 2022 she joined CSPG’s archival team as part of the effort to digitize 90,000+ political posters. As an Assistant Archivist she…
