ABOUT THE BOOK: Screenwriter and film historian Henry C. Parke has spent the better part of the past 15 years documenting the Western’s past, present, and future for True West magazine and the INSP network. His new book, The Greatest Westerns Ever Made, and the People Who Made Them, is an eclectic collection of about eighty of the articles he’s written as the Film and TV Editor of True West. It was released by Two Dot Books earlier this year.
Henry will lead the audience through the history of Westerns, from the silent era, through B-movies, A-pictures, noir-ish post-World War II Westerns, Spaghetti Westerns, TV series & finally to the big-screen and small-screen Westerns of today.
